Payment Options

The Teddy Baron accepts multiple forms of payment, including:

  • VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover via PayPal
  • Transfers from US checking accounts via PayPal
  • US Post Office Money Orders
  • Cashier's Checks from any accredited US bank or credit union

Please send us a message prior to sending any payment to confirm your bear's availability and determine shipping charges. Because The Teddy Baron is physically located in Oregon, we currently collect no sales tax regardless of where you reside.


Traveling Expenses (a.k.a. Shipping)

The Teddy Baron offers a variety of shipping options to meet our customers' needs, including United Parcel Service (Ground, Second Day, and Next Day) and the United States Postal Service (Priority Mail and Parcel Post).

Every bear is important to us so for your security and theirs, all packages are fully insured. We also do not want to risk overcharging you, so we calculate the shipping for each individual package. To accomplish this, we ask that you:

  1. Compile a list of the bears in which you are interested. Please identify the bears by name and by artist or manufacturer.

  2. E-mail the list to us with your complete shipping address, daytime phone number, and preferred speed of shipment.

  3. We will notify you as soon as possible (typically within one business day) whether the bears are available and provide at least one shipping charge quote.

If you are in the United States military or government and use your APO or FPO address, please select either USPS Priority Shipping or Parcel Post as the shipping method.


International Orders

United Parcel Service (UPS) is used for all customer shipments outside North America. Please provide a complete physical shipping address (a postal box number is not acceptable) and a full telephone number. All UPS shipments require a signature upon delivery to ensure the order was received.

As a courtesy to our international customers, please be aware of the following US Customs Laws and our international shipping policies:

  • We must declare all merchandise for the exact value.

  • All shipments will be declared as "merchandise." We cannot declare any shipment a "gift."

  • Your order will be processed within two business days after it has been received.

  • We strive to ship all international packages within seven business days of the order.

  • We cannot express ship anything outside the contiguous United States.

  • As with US shipments, UPS requires a complete physical shipping address (a postal box number is not acceptable) and a full telephone number.

  • All shipments outside the United States are sent via UPS and require a signature.

We truly appreciate your business, but please understand that we must respect and adhere to all customs laws and regulations.
