How to Buy: the Adoption Process
Because The Teddy Baron's bears are often rare and hard-to-find, we may have only one of each bear available. If you see someone for whom you've been searching – or experience that bolt of love at first sight – please don't hesitate! Someone else may be feeling that same excitement and buy your bear while you deliberate.
But we at The Teddy Baron understand that sometimes you need to think about a purchase for a few hours... maybe even sleep on it. That's why we offer a 24-hour hold on any of our bears, figurines, and accessories. Simply send us a message and tell us in which bears you're interested. Based on the time and date of your message,* you will have the first option to buy that bear for the next 24 hours – meaning if someone else wants to purchase it, we will contact you before selling.
To begin the adoption process – or to place a bear on a 24-hour hold – please do the following:
- Compile a list of the bears in which you are interested. Please identify the bears by name and by artist or manufacturer.
- E-mail the list to us with your complete shipping address, daytime phone number, and preferred speed of shipment. If you are in the United States military or government and use an APO or FPO address, please select either USPS Priority Shipping or Parcel Post as the shipping method.
- We will notify you as soon as possible (typically within one business day) whether the bears are available and provide at least one shipping charge quote.
While we strive to keep The Teddy Baron site current, it remains a manual process and may be slightly out-of-date. All prices and availability are therefore subject to change without notice, and while we would apologize, we are not responsible for typographical errors. We will contact you via e-mail to confirm your order or to advise of a potential delay.
