24-hour Hold Service
We at the Teddy Baron understand that sometimes you need to
think about a purchase for a few hours... maybe even sleep on it.
That's why we offer a 24-hour hold on any of our bears, figurines,
and accessories.
Simply send us a message and tell us in which bears you're
interested. (Please clearly identify each bear by name and by
artist or manufacturer to avoid potential confusion.) Based on the
time and date of your message, you will have the first option to
buy that item for the next 24 hours – meaning if someone else
wants to purchase it, we will attempt to contact you before selling
it.
Please note The Teddy Baron cannot be held responsible for
undelivered and/or delayed mail. If a second customer requests an
item that has been placed on a 24-hour hold, the Teddy Baron will
attempt to notify the initial interested party. If the message is
returned as undeliverable or no response is received by the
conclusion of the 24-hour period, the hold will be terminated and
the second interested party will be allowed to complete the
purchase.
Layaway Plan
Did a bear ever steal your heart – only to drop it when
you saw the price? Perhaps the Teddy Baron's Layaway Plan can help
stretch your bear budget!
Simply send us a message identifying by name and
artist/manufacturer in which bear(s) you're interested. We'll let
you know whether your bear is still available and can be cared for
here while you pay the adoption fees and traveling expenses over
time. Please note, however, that we reserve the right to limit the
number of bears who can be put on layaway by any one customer.
An initial payment of $25 or 25 percent, whichever is greater, is
all that will be required to reserve your bear. On the same date
for the next three months, another $25 or 25 percent (again,
whichever is greater) will be due. Your bear will ship when the
fourth and final payment has been received.
If a payment is not received within two weeks of its due date,
however, your bear will resume his search for a new home and any
previous payments will be forfeited. Sorry, but all layaway
payments are non-transferable. (You wouldn't want to dash a bear's
hopes like that, anyway, would you?)
Special Orders
The Teddy Baron will gladly take pre-orders or special orders
for any manufacturer or artist with whom we do regular business.

If you find one of these bears you love, please send us a
message with the bear's information. We will research the bear and
contact you with a price quote. A down payment of $25 or 25
percent, whichever is greater, will start your bear's journey
(unless of course the bear's price is less than $25, in which case
we would appreciate pre-payment).
We will contact you again when your bear has arrived to notify you
and to arrange payment of any remaining balance.
Bear Locator Service
Have you been seeking an elusive Boyds Bear? Searching high and
low for an Annette Funicello angel to complete your series? Or
maybe a bear similar to the Teddy you literally loved to pieces as
a child? If so, allow us to aid your search!
Send us a message and tell us which bears you're seeking. Please
provide as many details as possible including any specific
variations, a particular edition number, your time constraint (if
any), your maximum price, and so forth. If you're uncertain of the
bear's name or manufacturer, please include a detailed description
or a photograph if possible. We will notify you immediately when a
bear potentially meeting your criteria has been located.
For instance, imagine your best friend is expecting a baby girl in
four month and intends to name her Amanda. At your request, The
Teddy Baron would make every effort to find a Boyds "Amanda K.
Huntington" plush bear for you within five months. We also might
recommend a one-of-a-kind artist bear dressed to match the
nursery's color scheme.
Perhaps your niece recently graduated and landed her first "real"
job. You want to find something personal that reflects her love of
teddy bears but at the same time is professional enough she may
display it on her desk at work. The Teddy Baron would gladly
recommend some gift options, such as a Quarry Critters "Baldwin" to
sit atop her computer monitor or a "Bear Family Frame" holding a
photo of the two of you.
