National Association of Limited Edition Dealers (NALED) Achievement Awards

The National Association of Limited Edition Dealers was formed in 1976. It is a non-profit national association serving the Gifts and Collectibles industry, and independent retailers make up the majority of its membership. While the NALED staff selects the nominees, NALED's members determine the final winners in each category.

NALED presents its achievement awards annually in recognition of "outstanding contributions for the world of collectibles." The awards are given for the prior year's products — so the 2003 awards are for products that were produced and distributed in 2002. The NALED Plush Collectible of the Year award is relatively new, as it was added in 1998.

NALED Plush Collectible Line of the Year 2004

The award was altered in 2004 to honor the Plush Collectible Line of the Year. The Boyds Collection, Ltd., won NALED's top honors that same year.
