Artist Original Bears

The Teddy Baron proudly offers a wide selection of Artist Original Bears – Teddy bears individually designed and lovingly crafted by independent artists.

Although similar bears may be available, we consider each of these bruins to be one of a kind. Teddy bear patterns are not precise molds, and each combination of fabric, fill, trimmings, and the all-important development of the face makes each bear unique.

Some of the bears with unknown origins may in fact be Artisan Bears, or bears crafted by one artist using a pattern or design of another artist. Again, however, we believe it is the interpretation of a design that results in the final bear and makes each a singular work of art.
