Avalon Bears
Avalon Bears are the whimsical creations of husband-and-wife team
Tanya and Roger Hall of Blyth, Northumberland, in the United Kingdom.
The couple has been designing these one-of-a-kind bears since November 1999.
 Each bear is meticulously handcrafted of
the finest mohair or lush alpaca, and features thoughtful glass
eyes, Ultrasuede paw pads and inner ears, and hand-embroidered
mouths and noses. All Avalon Bears are also fully cotter-pin
jointed and nicely weighted with poly and pellet filling for a
variety of playful poses – including standing upright without
support.
"It's always satisfying to have made a beautiful bear," Tanya
said, "but the real treasures are the ones that make you smile
every time you pass them."
The Teddy Baron is the only retail outlet in North America
offering Tanya and Roger's distinctive Avalon Bears –
and the only source for these no-longer-produced styles – so we feel
doubly honored to present them to you.
